User License Statement

This User License Statement (“License”) governs your rights and limitations when using the compliIT cybersecurity policy templates, documentation, and related materials (“Materials”) provided by Ronin Security Consultants, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading or using the Materials, you agree to the terms below.

 

1. Grant of License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, use, and modify the Materials solely for your organization’s internal business operations.

This license allows you to:

  • Edit and customize the templates for your business

  • Implement the policies across your internal teams

  • Share customized versions with employees, auditors, contractors, or consultants supporting your organization

 

2. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Sell, resell, license, sublicense, or redistribute the Materials in their original or substantially similar form

  • Publish the Materials publicly (including online repositories or shared drives accessible to others)

  • Use the Materials to create competing products or policy libraries

  • Remove copyright notices or proprietary markings

  • Represent the Materials as legal or regulatory-certified documentation

Any unauthorized use constitutes a violation of this License and may result in immediate termination.

 

3. Ownership

All original Materials remain the intellectual property of Ronin Cyber Academy, LLC.

Your modifications are owned by you, but the underlying template and structure remain licensed—not sold—to you.

 

4. Termination

We may revoke this License if you violate its terms.

Upon termination, you must discontinue using the original Materials but may continue using policies that have been materially customized for internal use.

 

5. No Warranties

The Materials are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee legal compliance, audit readiness, or regulatory certification.

 

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from use or misuse of the Materials.

Your use of the templates is fully at your own risk.
